Ljubljana, 7th October 2026 – Advance Capital Partners has reached an agreement with the owners of the technology company Solviks to acquire a 70% majority equity stake. The investment by the Advance Capital Partners SIS private equity fund will give Solviks additional momentum to develop AI solutions and expand their use in software design and development. The transaction is pending approval from the relevant competition authorities. Following completion, Solviks will become part of Aeon Digital Group, within which Advance Capital Partners is developing its IT companies.
“We see significant potential in Solviks. Its team knows how to modernize complex IT systems and integrate artificial intelligence into business processes, as it has demonstrated through projects for Big Bang and A2U. We believe Solviks can become an important development partner for other companies in our portfolio and contribute to the growth of Aeon Digital Group. Its ambitions extend well beyond our portfolio, however. Demand for this expertise is growing outside Slovenia, and Solviks has already shown that it can deliver projects for international clients. We therefore intend to support its expansion in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Croatia, and other countries in CEE,” said Aleš Škerlak, President of the Management Board of Advance Capital Partners, following the agreement.
“Over the past few years, we have built a team capable of developing complex business applications and integrating them with our clients’ existing systems. With Advance Capital Partners joining us as a new majority owner, we want to accelerate that work. We have already incorporated artificial intelligence into our solutions. Going forward, we will use it even more extensively in software design and development and help our clients integrate it into day-to-day processes. Further development of our K8-Cube platform, including new modules and AI capabilities, is an important part of our plans. To achieve this, we will continue to invest above all in our people and in an environment where they can develop their expertise and take on the most demanding projects,” said Borut Jakovac, who will remain a co-owner and CEO of Solviks after the transaction closes.
“Solviks will complement and strengthen Aeon Digital Group. It brings a strong development team and expertise that will enable us to offer clients a broader range of solutions. We can combine Solviks’s experience in IT modernization, microservices-based development, business process automation, and artificial intelligence with the expertise and solutions of Margis and Mikrocop. Together, we will be able to develop more sophisticated solutions for existing and new clients, while Solviks will play a key role in developing and implementing AI solutions across the group,” said Andrej Fajfar, CEO of Aeon Digital Group. He added that, following the addition of Solviks, Aeon Digital Group will rank among Slovenia’s largest IT groups, with more than EUR 20 million in annual revenue and around 200 employees.
Solviks, which operates under the Solve-X brand, was founded by Borut Jakovac in 2015. It has grown from a small development team into a technology company with more than 50 specialists and has completed over 500 projects across Europe and the United States. Solviks specializes in modernizing existing IT solutions with the help of artificial intelligence, developing solutions based on microservices architecture, and automating business processes. Its projects connect existing IT systems with modern applications and deliver solutions tailored to clients’ needs. In the field of artificial intelligence, Solviks has developed a solution that uses large language models to automatically collect, classify, and organize information from public sources. It also develops text and voice assistants that answer employees’ and customers’ questions based on company documentation.
